In January of 2015, Elaine M. Wallace, D.O., M.S., M.S., M.S., was appointed dean of the NSU's Dr. Kiran C. Patel College of Osteopathic Medicine.
Over the past 15 years, Dr. Wallace has held a number of positions at the College, including executive associate dean from 2009 to 2015, professor of osteopathic principles and practice from 2000 to 2015, clinical professor for family medicine from 2000 to 2015, and staff physician for NSU's Sanford L. Ziff Health Care Center from 2000 to 2015.
She also served as chair of the Department of Osteopathic Principles and Practice and the Department of Sports Medicine from 2000 to 2008, liaison to international medicine from 2000 to 2008, and residency director for sports medicine and sports medicine fellowship from 2000 to 2009.
Dr. Wallace is a scholar and researcher who is always working, and has published some notable papers. She has gotten various honors and acknowledgments for her mentorship, showing greatness and understudy commitment, including NSU's Workforce Grant for Local area Administration (2012) and the lofty Leonard Tow Humanism in Medication Grant (2013) granted every year by the Arnold P. Gold Establishment to a select gathering of staff from the country's clinical schools who best exhibit the goals of remarkable empathy in the conveyance of care; respect for patients, their families, and colleagues in the medical field; and excellence in medicine.
